Wireless Problem

Linksys WMP54G PCI Adapter. XP (home edition. Ver 2002
SP1) goes through the motions of installing the drivers
and adapter in the computer. Looks fine when looking at
adapters in control panel.
It cannot detect any wireless network and the "wireless
zero configuration icon" in the system tray only offers
little info other than no network ot access.

The adapter works fine in a Win2K machine.

Microsoft bulletin "314897 Enable Windows XP Automatic
Wireless Network Configuration" does not represent any
configuration options I have.

Looking for suggestions.
