my desk top(host comp) always tries to dial up whenever
the laptop(client comp)is on i have tried everything i
can think of and nothing seems to stop it , i even
disable time syn to see if that was doing it , any help
would be apreciated

Your using internet conection sharing? verify these
settings almost sure it has something to do with it!
