Background:
Attempting to configure my wireless connection using
Wireless Connections from Control Panel in XP
I am able to connect via my ISP to the Internet. I have
multiple networks (neighbors mostly) showing up in my
available networks config. Everytime the wireless
connection senses another network I get a message that
pops up on the server tray "Other wireless networks
available". At this point if I don't manually click on
properties and select my SSID I lose access to my network
connection.
I found this reference:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;302088
But my SSID is the only one listed in the preferred
column, and I still lose access unless I manually select
mine everytime.
Any ideas?
