Wireless Network not working

I have a wireless B router with two PC's, two gaming
consoles, and one laptop. If I hard wire the units into
the router it works like a charm. When I try to use the
wireleses cards on the PC's, they don't work. The laptop
works for a few minutes, then nothing. The computers can
connect for about 30 seconds and then the connection is
lost.

This is what I have done:

Updated firmware and drivers from manufacturers sites
Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and components
moved the router closer to the machines
formatted the router
sat for a few hours with customer service and adjusted
router settings

my question is... what is work with my wireless network
when the same network works when wired. Did I do a
hotfix that blocked my wireless cards? Becasue the
gaming consoles are wirless and they work for hours and
they only get booted once in a while. Thats a seperate
issue.

Somebody help, the people at customer service for Linksys
were unsuccessful.

1. make sure there is'nt other wireless devices near by, could be interfering with the connection
2. right click the NIC in the task bar>>ADVANCE options -- make sure that u only have your Access point in the bottom list, if u have more than one (your NIC could be picking up someone elses AP) then move yours to the top
3.check your WEP settings (did u setup a KEY if so then copy that to your NIC

Did that, moved it upstairs and down stairs with the same
result.

Did that and re-did that. after the initial boot for the
internet, it asks for the WEP key, once you type it in,
your connected for about 30 seconds and then you have to
re-type again.


Is there anything else I can do? or are the NICs bad?
