Hello! i hope someone can help !
Cenário
One Pc Running a fresh copy of windows XP (all critical
updates applied), with: 1) LINKSYS PCI Wireless Adapter
connected with Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G (with "VERY
GOOD" signal);
2) Dinamic IP and DNS configuration, IP leased by the
router is 192.168.1.xxxx
ALL WORKS VERY WELL UNTIL HERE NO PROBLEM...
Then i create a new user with limited Access (not
administrator). I logon with this new user, The dynamic
IP config leases a new ip From MICROSOFT 169.xxx.xxx.xxx.
The ip renew does not work, with this IP Adress the acess
doesn´t work !
Back to the administrator user, the same happens, the IP
lease is always 169.xxx.xxx.xxx
How can i prevent that to happen ? And start again to get
the IP lease from the Router that is working OK ?
Thanks in advance
