I have a question about my wireless connection, On my laptop it
indicates that I have excellant signal strength but have limited to no
connectivity! What gives? could it be my firewall? I am a rookie when
it comes to wireless networking... any help would be appreciated...
"Limited or no connectivity" means that:
1. The wireless network connection is configured to obtain an IP
address automatically, and:
2. It's unable to communicate with a DHCP server to obtain the
assignment.
I don't think that a firewall could be responsible.
Is there a DHCP server on the wireless network that you connect to? A
wireless router typically acts as a DHCP server, but it's possible to
disable that in the router.
