himall, heres one you may be able to help with.
i have a toshiba m30 p4 mobile.
i was out with it today and hooked up to a network in town, checked my mail,
and then chucked it back under my babys stroller where it went into sleep
mode.
half an hour later, i woke it up to check my mail again but i got an error
message saying wireless connection unavailable. no changes had been made and
it didnt get too hot.
ive checked known access points and recieve no signal.
network stumbler doesnt even find my home access point.
the card itself is an intel pro wireless lan 2100 38 mini pci adapter.
ive tried re-installing the drivers with no success.
do you guys reckon its blown up?
cant figure this out...

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

You need to turn off you wzc (wireless zero config) I created a shortcut
on my desktop to do this. "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\NET.EXE stop wzcsvc" It
seems to work when all else fails. This only works in 2000 and XP. Good
luck.
