Wired and wireless to same router

Recently, my network set up has been giving me grief. My wireless
routers (one at a time 802.11G and 802.11G 108 models) have been
giving me "low" signal rates. It seems that a recent Windows Update
may have changed something (but I am not sure.)

Both my wired adapter (10.0.1.20) and my wireless adpater (10.0.1.21)
connect at the same time to my router (which ever I turn on.)

What sould I check to fix my wireless "low" signal to place it bac to
a hight rate (which was at Good/Very Good until May 2007?)

Hi
Try to change the Wireless channel (it is done in the Router's Wireless
menu), might be that you have enviotomental electronic noise on the channel
that you are using now.
Otherwise, Extending Distance - http://www.ezlan.net/Distance.html

I really do not think that I need to "extend" the distance of 15 feet.

The page describes how to increase the signal strength by extending the
coverage of the wireless signals. Your problem may be caused by descreased
coverage of adequate signal strength. Hence, the suggestions may help.

My computers are fully up-to-date, and I have not seen any decrease of
signal strength other than those caused by high humidity and other such
things. By the way, this laptop is 25 feet from my router, and it connects
quite well as long as the weather cooperates.
