I have Norton's "Wipe" program (part of Norton's Utilities package), which
had a feature to wipe all free space. That worked on Win 98 and Me, but I
have upgraded to XP, and that feature doesn't work on XP.

Does anyone know of a program that has that feature for XP?

Do a google search for disk wipe utilities. Cyberscrub is one.

Go here:

Look for "wipeinfo". He's asking $19.95 (shareware) but you can try
it out before you buy. I use it all the time, it's a great program
and does much more than wipe free space.
