I have an IBM 300GL computer I inherited. It is running W2000PRO. I like that, but I have 3 other computers running XP, and I do not need this computer to run W2000PRO. I would like to completely remove it, and load W98. How can I completely remove W2000PRO and ready it for installation of W98SE?

Thanks in advance.

Boot with the Windows 2000 Pro CD. Early on during the install process
you'll be given the opportunity to delete partitions. Delete all partitions.

Boot with your Winsdows 98 diskette. Fdisk and format your drive. Reboot
with the Windows 98 diskette. Install Windows 98.

fdisk then format from a boot floppy.
