wipe clean/reinstall

windows would not load up. tried re-installing windows,
but didn't delete old windows. am using same windowsxp
professional. how do i wipe out windows and start fresh.
reinstalled once, but it didn't remove old windowsxp. now
i have both in my computer.

Boot from Windows XP CD (It will ask you to press any key to boot from CD
*if* the CD is in a bootable CD drive and you have set your BIOS to boot
from CD first.)

Follow the on-screen instructions. When it asks you which partition to
install onto, delete whatever is there, create whatever you want and
continue following the on-screen instructions.
