WinXp wont save Display Settings

I recently uninstalled the free version of Zone Patrol, and installed
the $$ version of Zone Patrol Pro 4.

Since then my computer ALWAYS comes up in 640x480 display mode at 60 hz.
Change the settings to 1068x768 and 90 hz. Everything works ok until I
reboot - then it always comes up in 640x480 60hz mode.....

Using ATI radeon drivers - the latest

tried System restore - didnt help.

The firewall program is called Zone Alarm not Zone Patrol. Anyway,
try removing the video adaptor from Control Panel, System, Hardware
Devices. Reboot, and let the system detect your ATI again and
install drivers. You should then be able to use the ATI control
panel applet to set the resolution and refresh rate.

yes, it is Zone Alarm Pro.... I did un-install the video driver , reboot
and install the latest Radeon Drivers. I have no problem using the ATI
control applet to change the resolution and refresh rate. The problem is
the next time I turn on the computer it comes up in 640x480 mode 60hz
and 32bit color. It apparently is not saving the display settings.
