WinXP SP2 CD available at Staples , now for free, just got mine a few minutes
ago, same as windowsupdate, good for home, pro, media, tablet editions,
DirectX 9.0c is installed in.

i thought cd's weren't going to be ready for another few weeks ?
 
went to staples in califoprnia near oakland and they
didn't know anything about free sp2
