WinXp remove and add driver for modem

My online does not disconnect when I sign off msn mail, I
have to completely disconect my pc in order to close my
modem.
I have been told to remove the driver and add another one
using part number from invoice which I don't have, My Cd
does not have the part number listed either
My computer is a Dell 2350 series.Please help in any way

DELL should be able to help you. Otherwise you may be able to get number off
the modem if you open the case and look for it.
