WinXP Pro and PartitionMagic 8.0

I am trying to partition my 80gb NTFS hard disk using
PM8.0 without success. I have read a number of comments
that,despite PowerQuest's claims, PM8 and Win XP Pro
are not compatible.

Has anyone sucessfully achieved this?

All help much appreciated.
