I'm working on installing Windows XP Home on a new
computer. Its running a MSI Neo2 FISR2 (running Intel
865PE chipset) Motherboard (AMI BIOS 1.7), with P4 2.6,
Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 9 SATA HD, and TDK DVD ROM. For
some reason XP refuses to boot up after all the files are
copied to the HD. It usually gets to the "Setup is
restarting ......." or just 1 step past that to the
blueish screen. Then it just freezes. No idea what's
causing this. Anyone got any ideas?

Ples Help me!!!!!!!!1

OK I believe I got it licked. Turns out the i865PE chipset
has some issues with DDR400 RAM. You need to cut down the
timings in the BIOS to make the system more stable.

I hope you found out a solution to your problem as I'm
having the exact same symptoms!!! One thing, I've never
seen the blue screen...
