Hi.
Last night my computer crashed. When Windows XP went to load it hung on the
splash screen. I tried to boot using Last Known Good Configuration and it
would still hang. I could boot Windows in Safe Mode. I then tried System
Restore and it still hung up.
Tonight when I got home from work I tried to run a repair installation.
During the installation I kept getting the following error:
Setup cannot copy the file: Bios4.rom
Press ENTER to retry...
So I exited Setup and tried to do a clean install. I now get the following
error:
Setup cannot copy the file: addremov.chm
I thought the disc might be scratched or dirty but it is not.
Any ideas on what I do next?
