I have two 40GB HDDs, in a RAID 0 config, so effectively
it's a single 80GB HD. I've been having some problems
with XP, so I wanted to reinstall it, but when I boot from
the CD and follow it through to the point where you can
pick which partition to install it to. There are no
drives displayed. Pressing ENTER yields a blue screen of
death, but that is to be expected; XP doesn't think I have
any drives. Does anybody know what the problem is?

At the very beginning of the XP install it prompts you to push a key (F6 I
believe) to install RAID drivers. You MUST install those drivers for setup
to see it.
