I have a home bridged network setup on my main desktop PC (WinXP) to enable
the other computers to access the DSL connection. Everything works fine,
meaning the other computers are able to access the network and the internet
connection, until I have to reboot the main computer (or boot up after a
shutdown).
The problem is that the bridged network is dead, even though Network
Connection window shows the bridge and the interface as "Connected". What I
usually do is disable the "Network Bridge" device and enable it again and
then the network works.
Anybody know why this is so? It is very inconvenient to have to do this
everytime I reboot (or boot up).
Thanks.
