when i try to open Word 2000 i get the following
message "winword has caused an error in WINWORD.EXE try
restarting your computer"
restarting has ne effect on it.
what can i do to access word?

Try running a detect & repair on Office or reinstall it (or just Word).
Note - probably have better luck in a Word group - this group is for Windows
2k issues.....make sure you mention your version of Word, of Windows, and
any error messages you see (check your event logs, too).
