Winupd.dll

I recently ran norton anti-virus check on my computer and it got rid of winupd.dll file cause it was infected with ad ware. how do i restore that file again or reinstall it since my computer runs prompts every two minutes or so asking for it????

Joe, go to Start>Run type: msconfig select Startup and see if
there's an entry winupd.dll. If yes, then
Uncheck.
