Winsoftware creating havoc. please help!

I have identified Winsoftware (winfixer), Delfin and e2give as problems using
spybot but it doesn't get rid of them. I am also running adaware, micro trend
pc-cillin inyernet security 2006 and microsofts own beta software and they
don't even identify there is a problem. How do I get rid of all this rubbish
without attracting more. They talk about car rage if cumputer rage ever takes
off. Well!

Thanks in antisipation.

I manually uninstalled mine the 1 time I had just a
Registry entry. Tedious but effective. Instructions at
ManualRemoveInstruct@lSpywareGuide:
http://www.spywareguide.com/product_search.php

Prevention is best cure- I use Restricted Zone & block
known Active-X malware but still run Web based scanner
occassionally. Being cynical is a great help 2. URLs on
request but I'll only be in this NG 4 another 24hrs.

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

Part 1 - Do the preliminary cleanup steps from here:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Part 2 - Run David Lipman's tool:
Download WinFixerFix.exe from -
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/WinFixerFix.exe
Execute c:\mcafee\clean.bat (or Double-click on 'Clean Link' in c
\mcafee)

Here are other methods of removing WinFixer if the above two things
don't work:

from Symantec:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixVundo.exe
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.vundo.removal.tool.html
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.virtumonde.html#removalinstructions

from McAfee:
http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_127690.htm

from Attribune:
http://www.atribune.org/downloads/VundoFix.exe

Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files. This will create a
VundoFix folder on your desktop. After the files are extracted, please
restart your computer into Safe Mode. Once in safe mode open the
VundoFix folder and double-click on KillVundo.bat

Make sure you are following all malware removal steps here:

I have actually released a new version of vundofix.exe that is
completely automated

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4
* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
* Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
* You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open
in a minute or less. Click OK
* When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files,
click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts
removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your
computer, click OK.
* Turn your computer back on.
