It doesn't exist on my system. Why do you think you need it?

where can I find winsock2.dll for xp

I hope you can't. Winsock and wsock32 are legitimate windows components
- winsock32 is almost certainly part of a virus or trojan infection, and
something asking for it suggests an infection that has not been fully
cleaned out. Start - Run MSConfig.exe and on the startup page look for
any line that runs it - uncheck the line and exit (don't bother to
reboot immediately, but at the next time you do say 'don't show again'
to the reminder that will appear)
