WINS - replicate both ways?

Mark N.

I have a non-active directory network here and was doing a bit of
reconfiguration and was wondering: if I have two WINS servers (which I do -
Win2K Server for each), should I make both of them replication partners?
For instance, on server A, should B be a replication (push/pull) partner and
then on server B, should A be a replication (push/pull) partner too? It
seems like that's the way it should be, but I was up late last night and
this was going around in my head and I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

Generally you would make them push/pull parteners of each other. However
there are some situations that people don't want two way replication. Unless
you have some reason not to, go ahead and set them up as push/pull partners.
