There is no winpopup in XP. You can send messages from a command
prompt using the NET SEND command. Alternatively, if you want to
do this from a windowed app, there are several freeware/shareware
choices of programs to do this. I use a little freeware app
called Nethail which works fine.
Winpopup has been discontinued. At our office we find it most efficient to
use an agreed-upon instant messenger product for this purpose. http://www.winpopup.com
