Is there any way to make windows xp pro send messanges to
windows 98, like the winpopup in 9x.
Can i modify anything to make the net send command send
to win 9x computers?

No - you need winpopup for that.

You don't need to modify anything. XP's "net send" can send messages
to Win 9x clients that run Winpopup, and Winpopup can send messages to
XP.
