WinPE on machines with two NICs

I have a laptop that contains a wireless LAN card and a standard
ethernet LAN card.

Loading the drivers for the two network cards in to WinPE and booting
it up results in it only binding to the wireless LAN. We can't change
the PCI order of these as they are all integrated devices. As a
result WinPE will only ever work off the wireless LAN card!

Is there any way to instruct WinPE to only work with a certain card?
Or to tell it to enumerate the cards in reverse order, or something
that will allow it to work off the ethernet card? This has left us
quite stuck!

Incidentally, we've used VirtualPC hosted on a system manually built.
When we change the order of the NICs presented it works and builds
fine. When we make the Wireless the first NIC it fails.

Any help would be really good.

Thanks

Mike

We still have this problem.... Does anyone have any clues at all?
This could be quite critical for a lot of companies going forward as
wireless cards are built in to laptops....

At the moment we've been told the wireless can't be disabled at all,
with the exception of removing the tranceiver part - but that still
leaves the PCI side enabled and still gives us the same problem, WinPE
tring to use the first nic rather than the one we want.

Does Microsoft have anyone who monitors this newsgroup who could give
some clue? Or has anyone else has this problem?
