hi all
i'm trying to create a bootdisk for unattended installations. i want to use
it in conjunction with the xp cd. using setup manager i create a unattend
txt file rename it to winnt.sif and copy it to floppy. during creation of
the floppy i chose fully automated and supply all parameters. i boot from
the cd with the floppy in the floppy drive. the installation progresses to
the setup part of the text based part of the setup, here i have to manually
create the partition. am i doing something wrong why doesn't setup create
the partition and go on with the setup. next problem; the box re-boots setup
goes another 15 minutes or so then i'm asked if i'd like to register with
microsoft, then i have to input a user name. my understanding of the process
was that it did everything itself. i answered all the questions when
creating the winnt.sif file supplied the product key and gave the admin a
password so why does the setup keep stopping?
thanks
