WinMgmt Event 35

Win 2K/sp4 Pro

Have noticed a lot of warnings in the event log:

WinMgmt Event ID 35, WMI ADAP was unable to load the ASP.NET_2.0.50727
performance library because it returned invalid data: 0x0

I see a lot of talk on the web, but have not found a solution.

How do stop these messages, turn it off, or find a workaround. This is not
a server, just an old workstation.

Any advice?

Are you running a web server? If not you can disable the counter. You can
Add/Remove them by regedit, but it's much easier to use exctrlst.exe
(Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource kit to enable/ disable
the counters.

We have a server which has this event and we'd like to get it resolved. We use two IIS-based Programs that both reference: \aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727

It looks like the files are actually under the 1_1_4322 folder. What is best way to get this fixed?
