winME and 2000

Are these two OS compatible? Will ME run programs for
2000, I guess is a better way to ask.....
 
To be brutaly honest. I would get rid of ME ASAP. ME is
the most horrid OS microsoft has ever put out. Format and
go with Win 2k. You cant go wrong with 2k.
