winmail.dat? Any one know what it is?

When I send an inserted picture(JPG) to a distribution list, I get a
complaint from a Mac user using Netscape for mail that he gets an attachment
(that takes a long annoying time to download) called winmail.dat. and no
picture. How can I make this not happen to him. I can just set him up to
receive text only, but alas no picture.

This has happened to me when my mail format in Outlook is
set to rich text format.

Set your mail format to text and then attach your jpg.
