winlogin exe error

every time i log on after a long delay i get an error
message, cant find winlogin exe. how can i replace it?
 
Hi,

Winlogin.exe (not winlogon.exe) is/was part of a virus. Your antivirus
software probably removed it, but did not repair the damage it did. See this
from MVP Doug Knox to clean it up:
