winload issue

Let's try again....

I am attempting to install Beta 2, and I have already worked past Vista not
liking my DVD on install, not enuff RAM, and Vista not liking my *brand-new*
DVD on install (copied installation file to HD).

Now the installation completes, but on reboot, i get the ubiquitous message
"winload.exe is corrupt..." that I see detailed in other messages here. I am
using a brand new Maxtor 200GB HD, where I ghosted the 1st two partitions
(win98 and XP) from my working system, and created a 3rd partition for vista
(100GB).

Yaz has some posts that have moved on to the bit bucket in the sky and needs
to be reposted, as I see them referred to as being a solution, but cannot
find.

I am started to get very frustrated, but I don't want to let it beat me...
Help!

Never mind.... I figured out the problem and Vista is running just fine.

FYI - I had attempted to use a 200 GB HD with an older bios machine that
did not recognize anything over 137GB. XP could see it all, format it all,
etc, but Vista install didn't like my using the last 100GB on the drive as my
system partition.
