Last night I noticed my son had 1 running program on my
machine and when I went to task manger, It would not
open. All of the help and system monitors would not
display any details of any running system related
processes. ON System info, it would say not available.
After repeated reqeusts for task manager, it would appear
and then disappear within 5 seconds. I finally noticed
this file winkccy.exe with not documentation and deleted
it and got my Task Manager back. Where did this file come
from? I wonder if it is some virus or malware my son
downloaded. Any help would be appreciated.

Ask your son.

Ultimately, though, you really, really need to invest in some sort
of anti-virus protection. This particular virus has been around for a
long time, and any decent anti-virus product with up-to-date virus
definition files would have prevented this problem.
