Finally!

I ranted about it's non-existance here about 6 weeks ago.

It would have been nice if it were an optional update in Windows
Update (especially considering the file one downloads is a msu file),
but anyhow.

It comes in both 32 and 64-bit versions.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

I have just downloaded the file that ends with x86 because Vista ultimate on
my new Dell has messed up Word Perfect Office 2000 files. It comes with many
warnings and a requirement to update Registry. Has anyone installed the thing
yet? Is it likely to make a bigger mess? I'm not incompetent but I'm not a
programmer either and it's been a long time since my last new computer and
dealing with this kind of stuff. Should I wait a while in case the .hlp fix
also has 'new program' bugs?

Microsoft sure can be irritating.

WINHLP32 for Vista is installed. Appears to work okay in the few
programs tested here.
