On 09/12/2005 WINFS ans Index Server compatibility <WINFS ans Index Server

Does anyone know if IIS Index Server can index and search WINFS folders?

This is true, but WinFS is being back-ported to XP. I have an application
that uses IIS Index Server to perform searches, and I've been unable to
search the WinFS folders using IIS Index Server. I am running WINFS on an XP
Pro machine, and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
Windows Vista is not being released anytime soon, and some Longhorn
components like WinFS are being back-ported to XP.

WinFS will probabily get the problem fixed at a later time. Apparently, WinFS
is supposed to be release first on Vista and then ported back to the other
Windows (XP and 2003???)
