I have XP w/SP2 and it has worked for me too, but I didn't give it a
complete workout.

I like Power Desk better.

I've got that as well. On my Windows installation....

Oh yes it does. I use it in preference to Windows Explorer on XP SP2.

Winfile from win9x will NOT work on XP

however it turns out that the version from NT4 will work...

and it also has long file name support

The program WINFILE.EXE is known as the Windows File Manager, which was
first introduced in Microsoft Windows 3.0. Windows Explorer replaced this
program in Windows 2000, but the Windows NT version of File Manager should
still work on Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional. You may
