Using WinXP Home, SP2. This has been occurring for some time and I
can't find a method to correct it. Example:
If I have a folder icon on the desktop and right click, "Search" is at
the top of the list, and "Open" is the 7th item down. Open used to be 1st.
If I left click on the icon it opens Search, not the usual WE window. If
I right click and choose "open," it opens the folder into WE. If then I
right click on a sub-folder, it also opens into Search. And the same
with sub-sub folders. This necessitates having to right click and
choose "open" each time.
Wondering how this can be changed so that a left click merely opens
Windows Explorer, not the search window, as it used to?
