WindowsXP Desktop

I accidentally moved my open application window so farr
to the left that now it is off the desktop. So now, even
though the application shows up on the status bar at the
bottom, I still cannot access it. How do I bring this
window back into view on the desktop?

With the application active, press CTRL+<SPACE> and then press M (try this
in a visible window & you'll see what it does). Then use the cursor keys to
move it to the right until you can grab it with the mouse...
