They could at least have used a bsod from NT. Isn't that a Win 9x bsod?
Besides, remember that Vista restarts automatically on a blue screen, so it
wouldn't be sitting there for long like that.

It looks like a non-stop BSoD. The other one that just throws out an
exception.
 
Unchecking the box"Automatically restart" under "Startup and Recovery"
should prevent Vista from restarting.
This is the same option as in Windows XP.
 
Yeah and why would they do that to a demo unit? They would want it to
restart as quickly as possible :)
