How can I set up Windows Mail to view windows live account since for some
reason I'm unable to log on overthere using all the correct
username and passwords while observing case sensitivity. I thought I would
go about it like this if I have enought information.
Can you help me with this and will I need special numbers from Wild Blue?

I have a medium speed Satelite connection through "WildBlue" on a HP
computer using Windows Vista on Exp 7.

I also have a gmail account which seems to be working correctly at last
trial (e-mail address removed)
My live address is (e-mail address removed)

Thank You,
BJ

Use the Configuration Settings on this page:

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.

Tip: NEVER post or use your real email address in a public newsgroup or
forum!

Now that you have told the whole world your actual email
addresses, expect to get a lot of spam. Never post your email
address in a public forum.

Windows Mail doesn't support HTTP mail, which for a long time was the
only allowed access method for free Hotmail/Live accounts.

In February, Microsoft enabled POP access for free Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts.
Follow the settings given here:

Use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.
