Is there a way to download all required updates from
microsoft on a CD for both 2k and xp so, it will be easier
for us to update 100 Plus machines without having to
download it from the microsoft site for every machine??

Please help..

There sure is. Go to Windows Update and then select "Personalize Windows
Update" and select the checkbox for "Display the link to the Windows Update
Catalog". Select Windows Catalog and you will be able to download individual
hotfixes for deployment.

Thank u so much. I am downloading those now. Is there a
way to automatically send all these updates to a pool of
machines here at work?? Is there a script that I shoudl
run? I heard SUS does this but, can we just burn it on a
CD and call a script file that would install all these
updates automatically??

Yes, you should have no problems writing a script file and using the
documented switches from the corresponding KB articles to install them all
at the same time. Please note that MS03-40 requires that you logon as
administrator after installing if you have IE 5.5 or below.
