I am using a GPO from a 2003 functional level domain Active Directory
to set screen savers on XPSP2 Workstations on my company domain after
10 minutes (password on resume). In most cases the screensaver comes on

and password protects the workstation. In a few cases, the screensaver
will not start. What would cause a screensaver not to start? Would
streaming audio with Real Audio player or media player be seen as
"activity"? Open to any and all feedback

Seven identical messages in seven minutes seems to me to indicate a
possible trend.

It isn't spam yet, but I'm keeping an eye on google, and if you continue
at this rate, I'm going to file a complaint or three (Google, Gmail and
Charter). In the meantime, you might want to read the respective terms
of service for each of the three.

This issue turned out to be a sensitive optical mouse and a bass
speaker to close to the mouse. When the music was playing, it vibrated
the mouse enough to think their was activity. Turn off the music and
issue solved. Thanks for reviewing this issue.
