Bought a program that requires excell,or lotus1-2-3,or
dbase,or ASCII

is there anything in windows xp that replaces any of the
above

Microsoft Excel is currently available at your local software retailer.
Lotus 1-2-3 is now part of Lotus SmartSuite, which is also available at your
software retailer. Windows XP includes neither of these products. ASCII is a
way to represent printed characters - it is not a software application.
