Hi..hope you can help. I keep trying to install SP 1 from
the the Windows Update and it keeps telling me that the
product number is not a good one. Sorry, but it is a good
legitimate product.

Any ideas?

Sharon,
I don't know if this will help or not but if it is a new
pc or you just installed Windows XP( Home or Pro) you may
have activated windows but that dosen't mean you
registered your product with Microsoft, and if neither is
the case sorry I wasted you time.
