Runing Windows XP. Upgraded from Windows ME. Running Norton Anti-Virus
9.05.15 and Word 2000 v 9.0.2720
Problem:Documents created in Word and stored when reopened with Word running
ignore formatting and print out what seems to be format lines along with
unformatted data. If I close word and double click on the document file to
open both the document and word at the same time all is well.
Help.

Guess.
What you are describing sounds like you are recovering all text from the
file when you open from within Word. When you open a document look at the
File Type at the bottom on the Open windows to see if all text has been
selected.

You may also want to post in microsoft.public.word.application.errors
