Windows XP/VPN/Roaming Profiles

Hi there

I am running Windows 2003 (SBS PDC) on one box, and ISA server on
another. The PDC is configured for user for roaming profiles within our
internal network, and this works well.

I can get my Windows XP client to logon to a VPN I have recently set
up, providing they are logged in as another user first (I just need to
click an icon to make the connection of course).

I now want to be able to log into the VPN so that it downloads my
roaming profile and runs the standard login script (just like it would
happen in the internal network).

I know that when I initially log in there is an option to log in with a
dial up connection, but I'm running an ADSL router on the client, so I
can't see how I can get this to working with roaming..

Does anybody have any ideas on how I may be able to log onto my VPN
network with login scripts/roaming profiles?

Thanks

Alex

I've never tried that but I believe a VPN connection qualifies as a valid
entry in "Dial another connection first" (or whatever it is). Your computer
must be a member of the domain at the other end.

Thanks Kurt
Worked it out. The VPN connection must be enabled as the default
connection, I can then log in. Just a few hitches to overcome now...

Cheers
