Windows XP Upgrade keeps rebooting

I am upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro. During the upgrade a message popos up
asking for the ATI video drivers. After I point it to where the drivers are,
the screen goes to black and then comes back with a flash to the install
screen (I'm assuming it's accesing the video card) ; after a few seconds the
PC restarts and goes through the same process again. What to do? Thanks in
advance for your help!

Did you install the latest driver before attempting the upgrade? If so, have
you tried to rollback the driver?

Do you have another video card that you can swap, do the upgrade and then
install the original card?
