Windows XP - Unblock Zip File

To all - I know this topic has been beaten to death... and the last
suggestion on most posts is to get 3rd party zip program to resolve.
Did anyone get a fix from MS?

The "Unblock" button is not available in the properties menu of a
zipped file. Error message when trying to extract it.

unblock what/ internet access zip file should not require access to
internet.
plenty of free, next to free and trust worthy util to handle zip file
significantly faster. and less likely to hang.
sourceforge.net 7zip, winzip.... on and on

When using the Windows unzip feature, an error message comes up that
the file has to be "unblocked" from the properties menu of the file.

A free zip program is not a solution I'm looking for.

Sounds like I'll end up call MS in the end.

I did find a bit more on a MS forum about the method that the zip file
has been created. I'm going to go back to the developers who automated
this zip file being created.
