Anyone has this problem

I am using Compaq EVO N800v notebook
running Windows XP Pro .

The Time once a while become faster by one hour.

Is this Compaq problem or Microsoft .
Others same Compaq EVO notebook in the Company do not
have the problem .

It might be neither, the time servers sometimes burp.

May be you should try 3rd-party time-sync software? You may check
http://www.greenparrots.com/ for 1st Atomic Time. You can set it up to
sync your clock at Windows startup and exit or configure to sync every
hour.

WBR,
Mike.
